There’s something special about plants that flower below eye level. Ones that invite you to bend down for a closer look before rewarding you with their splendor—bonus points when that reward is accompanied by a subtle yet delightful fragrance that otherwise may have been missed. As its name suggests, Warczewiczella amazonica (formerly Cochleanthes amazonica) is native to South America. This plant is fast growing, and its long lasting flowers are quite large at about 3 inches across. These beauties will be leaving our available offerings soon, so pick some up if you haven’t already!
